Tochi Raina (born 1965) is an Indian singer. Best known as a playback singer in Hindi films.[3][2] His most notable works includes the song Ishq Waale Chor Hain[4] for the Hindi movie Kya yahi sach hai with Vishal Khurana,[5] Saibo for the Hindi movie Shor in the City a duet with Shreya Ghosal,[6][7] Maldar Ki Jeb for the movie Bhindi Baazaar Inc.[8] and Aali Re for the movie No One Killed Jessica.[9]
Born in Bihar, he had his education at Nepal where his father, a government employee, was posted. He later moved to Delhi where he started learning music from Pandit Vinod Kumar, who is the disciple of Indian classical singer Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. Then he migrated to Mumbai to make a career as a playback singer. Tochi got his first commercial break with Bulleshah in A Wednesday! in 2008.[10]
